Youth and Women Empowerment
We believe in the power of education, skills development, and economic empowerment to transform lives. Through partnerships and programs, we strive to create opportunities for youth and women, enabling them to build brighter futures. From educational scholarships and vocational training to entrepreneurship support, we invest in initiatives that empower individuals to unlock their full potential.
The Unity State Empowerment initiative
This was conducted in December 2021 with the aim of enhancing resilience and improving the livelihoods of vulnerable women in Leer County. The primary objective of the initiative was to familiarize local women leaders with the purpose and goals of the intervention. These leaders would then take charge of implementing the project on the ground. Furthermore, the initiative involved training the beneficiaries on the Functional Adult Literacy (FAL) module and equipping them with a business model.
Through this initiative, participants acquired the ability to effectively communicate in their bread-making businesses, enabling them to leverage the opportunities available within their communities. Additionally, the program provided guidance on integrating transportation and communication into their business model. Participants gained knowledge about child labor and learned strategies to combat it.
Trinity contributed to the initiative by donating essential items such as baking flour, salt, soaps, sugar, and ovens, which further supported the women in their entrepreneurial endeavors.
